WiseCare Urgent Care in Pasadena, Maryland provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients of all ages. Led by board-certified internal medicine and cardiovascular specialist Perry Weisman, MD, our team delivers exceptional walk-in medical care and prompt attention for non-emergency health concerns.
Dr. Perry Weisman
Dr. Perry Weisman, CEO and founder of WiseCare Urgent Care, is an experienced Emergency Physician with over 13 years of advanced clinical experience. He enhances traditional urgent care by treating sicker, non-emergent patients who might otherwise visit the ER, offering IV treatments, diagnostics, and rapid stabilizing care.
He completed a Heart Failure Fellowship at Georgetown–Washington Hospital Center and specializes in cardiovascular disease and congestive heart failure.
Dr. Weisman also serves as a USCIS Civil Surgeon and FAA Aviation Medical Examiner. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed residency at Drexel University–Hahnemann University Hospital. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities with his family.
Carolyn Bowering, PA-C
She earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Marshall University in 2023. Prior to that, she completed her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at the University of Maryland College Park and an Associate of Science in Biological Sciences with honors from Montgomery College.
Carolyn gained extensive hands-on experience through rotations in primary care, pediatrics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics, psychiatry, and rural health. She is proficient in managing acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures such as wound closure, venipuncture, IV initiation, ECG interpretation, and wellness exams, as well as providing patient education and preventive care.
At WiseCare Urgent Care, Carolyn is dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare in a convenient walk-in environment. She focuses on personalized treatment plans that address urgent illnesses, injuries, and ongoing primary care needs, always striving to make healthcare affordable and patient-centered while exceeding expectations.
Her prior volunteer work with underserved populations and research experience further reinforce her commitment to compassionate, evidence-based medicine.
Megan Lauren Jendrossek, MSN, CRNP
Megan Jendrossek, MSN, CRNP, is a highly skilled and compassionate dual-certified Nurse Practitioner with a passion for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across the lifespan. At WiseCare Urgent Care, Megan brings her extensive clinical expertise, calm confidence, and genuine dedication to helping every patient feel heard, respected, and well cared for.
Megan is completing her Post-Graduate Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) at Chamberlain University (expected graduation September 2025), adding to her existing board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AANP, 2017). With dual certification, she is uniquely equipped to care for patients of all ages, from children and adolescents to adults and seniors, with a seamless blend of acute, chronic, and preventive care.
Over the past seven years, Megan has honed her skills in fast-paced and complex environments, including urgent care, internal medicine, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and hospitalist medicine. She has managed high daily patient volumes (20–30 patients per shift) while maintaining an unwavering focus on quality and safety. Her clinical strengths include:
- Comprehensive physical exams and acute illness/injury management
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, thyroid disorders, hypertension, autoimmune conditions, thyroid/hormone optimization)
- Women’s health and family planning
- Orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessments
- Pain management and palliative care
- Minor in-office procedures and urgent care interventions
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Megan spent five years as a registered nurse in high-acuity settings, including neuro-critical care, mother-baby/postpartum, and skilled nursing leadership roles. This diverse foundation gives her an exceptional ability to recognize subtle changes in a patient’s condition and respond quickly and effectively, exactly what patients need most in an urgent care setting.
Outside of medicine, Megan is a former Division I lacrosse player, competitive powerlifter, and strongwoman athlete. She enjoys creating individualized nutrition plans and mentoring young athletes, reflecting the same commitment to personalized goals and peak performance that she brings to every patient encounter.

X-Ray Technician Availability
Beginning January 2 (closed on New Year’s Day), our X-ray technician is available every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with alternating Fridays and Saturdays.
During December only, the technician is available Monday through Friday.
Typical hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Hours may vary on days when the clinic closes early or is closed.
